immuSpeed: Automated station
immuSpeed is an automated microfluidics-based platform, designed for running bead-based ELISA tests with standard immunology reagents. The instrument works with a microfluidics chip, harboring biosensors, in which all assay steps, from sample preparation through signal detection in 8 parallel channels, are performed automatically. Programming of sequential assay and regeneration loops allows running 96 tests, fully unattended. Various assays can be embarked and run in 10-15 minutes depending on biology, i.e. at speeds offering a quasi real-time monitoring solution in serial testing, and with the flexibility for performing most of available ELISA or affinity assays.
Key benefits
Fast: Total assay duration is 10-15 minutes (including chip regeneration time)
Efficient: Reagent and bead consumption is reduced to a minimum, and sample requirement is a mere 10 µl
Open: The system runs with conventional reagents, as provided in commercially available kits
Flexible: Various assays can be run simultaneously and in different (e.g. urine, plasma, CSF) matrixes
